In May of 1984, Central Baptist Church voted to found a Christian school, Central Christian Academy. In just three short months after voting, Pastor Townsley and the church members had replaced windows, moved walls, and made enough classrooms to accommodate the CCA students who would attend in grades K through 12. On August 25, 1984, the school opened with ninety-five students; and on May 17, 1985, the first senior class of six students walked down the aisle to graduate. In the years since then, CCA has continued to grow, adding students and upgrading facilities in a constant effort to achieve a greater excellence in education.

Since 1985, Central Christian Academy has graduated nearly 400 students. We are a proud member of the American Association of Christian Schools.
